Probe IMT is looking to hire a Junior Accountant to conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making and learn to create financial models. Provide accurate, timely and relevant reporting and management information to ensure management meets statutory requirements and achieves strategic business goals. Financial Record Keeping Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure proper documentation and categorization of financial transactions. Financial Reporting Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in generating routine financial reports for review by senior team members. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. Preparation of monthly intercompany matrixes and ensuring that there are no variances before submission for consolidation. Assist the Group Accountant in the preparation of monthly management reports. Accounts Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts on a regular basis. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. Credit card journal processing for the group & balancing the GL to the statement. Checking & signing off monthly creditor's reconciliations, ensuring that processing and allocations have been done accurately. Expense Management Assist in reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies. Help monitor and analyse company expenditures to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Managing credit cards, reporting on variances, and providing cost centre allocation. Checking all Profit and Loss revenue and expense allocation. Assist in managing vehicle registers, licensing and fuel usage and reporting on any variance Tax Compliance Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes. Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with local and national tax laws. Audit Support Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide required documentation. Learn and contribute to the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Assist in internal and external audit preparation. 3 - 5 Years of previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Registered with SAIPA Excellent Communication Skills Reliability Professional Demonstrates proactive behavior. Computer Literacy Strong attention to detail and accuracy Detail Orientated Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
