Our reputable Adhesive Distribution client is seeking a strong and solely dedicated Debtors Controller to join their high pace and very busy team in Westmead, Pinetown . Purpose of this job: A National Debtors Controller for National Adhesive Distributors and Uni-Continental (Natal) will have the responsibility for the processing and reconciliations of debtors' transactions and cashbook receipts. The collection of funds and ensuring all outstanding monies are received are included. Salary: R 15 000 p/m Provident fund after 3 months CTC Requirements: Excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent telephonic and communication skills. Attention to detail and professional appearance. Proficient in standard accounting software Strong reconciliation skills Excellent Excel skills, V Look ups preferred but not essential. Minimum of 5 years in debtors' role. Must have worked in FMCG industry. Experience with large volumes of debtors and collections. Responsibilities: Manage collections. Allocate payments. Reconciliation of Debtors accounts Handle all debtors' queries. Compiling of weekly, monthly debtors reports for sales representatives and Accounts Manager Consistently strive to maintain an appropriate age analysis. Build solid relationships with customers. Processing of Credit Notes Assisting the Accounts Manager with any ad hoc tasks as required Daily full function Debtors control and compiling daily feedback reports and updating of the Omni System with detailed relevant information, where required. Daily Allocations of payments received into the branch or via the Bank Account Clear credit, criminal and employment history. Weekly Debtors Sheets to be complied with latest updates for Sales Representatives and attend weekly debtors review meeting, with Branch Manager and Sales Representatives Assisting Branch Manager and Head Office with any legal request relating to Debtors Processing of Credit Notes after verification NB : Appropriate training will be provided in order for the role holder to fulfil his or her responsibilities. In response to initiatives by the role holder, or from their line manager, training may be made available to develop their potential skills in order that they might demonstrate personal development which would contribute to the overall success of the business. At this level, the role holder is expected to demonstrate initiative in respect of their own learning.
