Our reputable Adhesive Distribution client is seeking a Accounts Administrator to join their team in Westmead, Pinetown . Purpose of the job: The Accounts administrator position has a broad range of responsibilities for National Adhesives and Uni-Continental (Natal), predominantly relating to all accounts administration, but not limited to such. Salary: R 10 000 – 12 000 p/m. Require ments : Grade 12/Matric and preferably Accounts experience. Accounting software exposure to Omni preferred but not essential. Proficient in Excel Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written). Must be fluent in English. Adaptability, flexibility and accuracy and time management essential Have attention to detail. Clear credit, criminal and employment history. Commitment to the organisation Team Player Adept at handling wide array of varied demands and responsibilities Minimum of 2 years in similar role Responsibilities: Cash Control – Counting, verifying, and preparing cash received from Local Driver Deliveries Assisting with COD queries where necessary & assist debtors with collections when needed. Management of IT All accounts departments filing. Cross trained to fill in for debtors and creditors roles. Purchasing and maintaining office groceries Assisting warehouse and logistics manager with any ad hoc tasks as required Assisting the Accounts Manager with any ad hoc tasks as Daily communication with all account's clerks and Accounts Manager Escalations as necessary NB : Appropriate training will be provided in order for the role holder to fulfil his or her responsibilities. In response to initiatives by the role holder, or from their line manager, training may be made available to develop their potential skills in order that they might demonstrate personal development which would contribute to the overall success of the business. At this level the role holder is expected to demonstrate initiative in respect of their own learning.
