Additionally, they will be responsible for preparing accurate and complete financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory provisions, forecasting, budgeting, and managing cash flow. The Financial Accountant position calls for a confident and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate supporting multiple Real Estate Investments. Key qualifications and experience required for the Financial Accountant: CA(SA) / CIMA / SAIPA Min. of 2 years' experience Background in Real Estate or Financial Sectors Proven track record of working with financial models Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Experience in Shared Services or Group Accounting (advantageous) Key duties of the Financial Accountant: Develop and maintain timely and accurate management accounts and reports in accordance with IFRS for SME's Prepare and submit bi-monthly vat returns for business partners Liaise with external business partners to ensure external data is correctly reported as financial data Prepare supporting information for annual audit and liaise with the Boards' audit committee Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting & MIS Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, and prepare annual budget in consultation with the partners Contribute to new business development by preparing financial models and identifying profitability opportunities Key personal skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments If you are a "go-getter" finance professional, ready to elevate your career in a dynamic role, we encourage you to get in touch for a discussion about this position.
