Key Responsibilities: - Ensure equipment is well designed, maintained, controlled, and monitored. - Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. - Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, motors, and panels. - Direct and train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring systems and equipment. - Express ideas on technical problems clearly and concisely orally and in writing. - Comply with rules and regulations regarding safety. Comply with state codes, fire codes and OSH Act. - Adheres to all safety guidelines and use and care for hand tools and equipment necessary. - Ensure that the immediate working area is always neat and clean. - Apply recognized mechanical and electrical engineering practices when attending to jobs such as wiring, installation of wireways, building of panels, new installations and upgrades. - Attend to breakdowns with urgency and methodically. - Undertake other relevant duties as required. Qualifications: Grade 12 Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree (Preferred) At least 3 – 5 years' previous experience in a Millwright position Previous experience in the FMCG industry
