A global award winning client in the automotive industry seeks for a VDI Stack Monitoring Specialist (Senior) to join their dynamic team. Involved in the maintenance and operation of a global BMW Digital Workspace infrastructure for virtual devices. Maintenance and operations focused team member for our cloud and on premises VDI platforms. Make sure that the infrastructure for VDI platforms run smoothly. Actively work on constantly improving operational excellence including automation and proactive monitoring approached. Collaborate with an international product team, external providers, vendors and end-users. Treat security as a first-class citizen Work closely with stakeholders, development teams in constantly improving our VDI platforms stability and availability Work with other IT teams on integration of new features and components Main function: Worked with Application Monitoring tools Application and Server hardening (e.g., Ivanti) Installation, Configuration, and maintenance of Published Application presentation layer (e.g., XenApp & Citrix Workspace) Installation, Configuration, and maintenance of RDSH servers, e.g., Windows Server, Windows Multisession Install, configure, maintain and deploy virtual Apps and desktop images Work on automation of platform operations, troubleshooting and maintenance topics Continuously work on improving the operational stability Be responsible for the verification, planning and actioning of maintenance tasks together with other infrastructure teams Be responsible for the operations and standardization of the BMW enterprise VDI infrastructure, platform and desktop components. Experience in Azure Monitoring Tool Experience in VMWare Horizon Cloud prefereably Next Gen Experience in Azure Networking Knowledge of VMWare Workspace ONE Access and Unified Endpoint Management Knowledge of Microsoft Intune Knowledge in Scripting (Powershell) Experience in VMWare Intelligence Experience in VMWare Freestyle Experience in operation of Windows Servers (higher then 2016) Experience in Windows Client (Windows 10 / 11) OS troubleshooting and patch management Experience with Active Directory and GPO Experience with Scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.) Experience Citrix Xen-Desktop (higher then 7.x) and Xen-App (higher then 7.x) full stack Experience Citrix Netscaler (higher then 12.x) and Storefront Experience Citrix XenServer (higher then 7.x) Experience Citrix on VMware Hypervisor Stack (higher VMWare ESXi 6.x) Experience monitoring tools (Aternity, SCOM, AZURE, Nagius, Dynatrace etc.) Experience in troubleshooting in infrastructure Experience in data driven monitoring and analytics Should you not receive a response within 14 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
