Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and efficient processing of their orders. Answers questions, provides information as needed and generate sales through excellent customer service. The incumbent shall ensure that the company purpose is achieved, and our values are adhered to and reflected in every customer interaction. Customer service Use skill and/or experience assisting customers before, during, and after purchases to satisfy customer needs. Must offer excellent customer service to all walk-in and calling customers Receive payment or obtain credit information Properly prepare stock for customer transportation No unacceptable delays in responding to customer queries or complaints or answering incoming calls Contact customers to arrange collection or delivery of stock as per Branch closing procedures Sales Maximise profitable cash and credit sales for fabric, wallpaper, decorator's touch products and décor accessories and paint Maximise the sales value of each transaction through add on sales Sales and Gross profits meeting are exceeding target Number and average value per cash transaction meet or exceed targets Admin Ensure that company documents processed in accordance with company procedures Ensure that company admin procedures are adhered to as well as company credit policy, particularly stop supply instructions Operate within company cash and credit discount limits Process manual documents Ensure that calling customers have official orders for their purchases or positive identification (authorised to purchase) Ensure that correct codes are used when invoicing Company admin procedures observed No rejection of credit card transactions due to failure to follow procedures Compliance with company closing procedures House Keeping Ensure that that store is neat, clean, and properly merchandised Ensure that the allocated shop area is properly merchandised and kept neat Health and Safety Observe and complete regulations on Health and Safety Use all personal protective equipment provided Adhere to all National and Provincial traffic regulations Adhere to Covid 19 procedures and protocol Matric Certificate 1-2 years Experience Retail paint experience Omni knowledge Computer Literate English language Mathematic Literacy i.e., Discounts vs mark up, customer pricing.
