Job Title: Quality Systems Technician Division: Shatterprufe Area: Neave Closing Date: 30th April 2024 Shatterprufe is the leading manufacturer and distributor of OE Auto and aftermarket replacement glass products. The company manufactures genuine Shatterprufe laminated windscreens and Armourplate toughened automotive safety glass products. Three automotive glass plants manufacture over 4 million pieces of laminated and toughened glass a year for customers worldwide. Shatterprufe products are installed by Original Motor manufacturers in Southern Africa. Main job purpose: To facilitate and coordinate all quality and customer specific requirement to ensure products, process and systems meet customer expectations, resulting in business continuity. To coordinate and conduct internal and external audits to ensure that all requirements applicable to the automotive industry are achieved and maintained throughout the whole supply chain, on an ongoing basis. To identify, investigate and resolve quality related problems, using world-class problem-solving techniques, to ensure that quality standards are maintained; overall customer satisfaction is achieved; and organisational brand integrity is up held. To liaise and build effective working relationship with key stakeholders; including suppliers and customers; to improve supplier efficiencies and quality to ensure overall customer satisfaction in relation to quality standards. To ensure that all QMS and customer specific requirements are integrated, communicated, and implement within the organisation thereby ensuring full legal and customer compliance, on an ongoing basis. To plan and manage auditors’ activities, monitor their performance, and develop staff accordingly, to ensure that product targets are continuously achieved on a daily basis. To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision making for the business. Critical job requirements: Qualification(s): B Tech Quality degree or equivalent. Certified Auditors. Knowledge: Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements in terms of IATF. Knowledge and experience in Auditing practices and systems. Knowledge of problem-solving techniques. Working knowledge of core auditing tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP). Working knowledge of customer / industry requirements. Skills: Managing and planning skills (people). Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel). Communication Skills (verbal and written). Report writing skills. Detailed Conscious. Facilitation Skills. Co-Ordination Skills. Experience: 5 years’ experience as Quality Technician within manufacturing industry (preferably automotive). 3 years systems experience in an automotive industry.
