Job Description: Responsible for managing maintenance activities of the Company-Owned Distributor Sites as well as Customer Site Installations. Health, Safety, environment, and quality: To effectively manage and minimise the risk associated with Company-owned facilities at Depots, Distributor-sites, and Customer sites by ensuring: compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines, and legal requirements within area of responsibility. Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPI's and risk reduction strategies. that HSE competency requirements are enforced within area of responsibility. Conduct frequent Management tours to make recommendations to assist management in taking the necessary actions by follow-up. Implement, monitor, and maintain management systems such as One Maestro, Maestro LOG, Contractor Management, and Integrity Management etc. in the area of responsibility. Ensure that effective systems are developed to manage all Quality non-conformances and customer complaints and report such on a regular basis to General and Line Management. Ensure that appropriate performance indicators (KPI's) and reports are in place to provide a balanced measure of the HSEQ performance of the Depot. Ensure timeous and appropriate investigation of operational incident and accident in the area of responsibility. Strategy: To achieve the optimal mix of quality and cost in Maintenance to ensure efficient operation of the function. Maintenance Management: Ensure all the customer installation assets are well monitored and documented through efficient management. Establish Preventive Maintenance and implementation of CMMS for all the maintenance activities. Ensure the TGSA Depots, Company-Owned Distributors and Customer installation documentation is updated periodically and maintained in SharePoint database. Define and monitor monthly KPI's for the Department and coordinate for monthly review meetings. Ensure all the customer assets are properly labelled and updated in the Asset register and Asset management system is strictly followed for movement of company assets. Plan and action all the regulatory requirements and licenses as per the frequency without impacting the production of the Depots, Distributors, and customers. Constantly improve the condition of the Distributor and customer site assets by periodical upgradation and maintenance planning. Conduct Root Cause analysis for the equipment failures and action it as part of the annual maintenance plan. Ensure all the maintenance activities are conducted with qualified and approved contractors and job cards are verified prior to clearing of invoices. Conduct periodical visits to Company-Owned Distributor and customer sites and perform audits and inspections as per the planning. Identify the Critical spares required and maintain adequate inventory level to avoid delay. Capture all maintenance activities like Equipment inventory, Spare inventory, Job reports etc in CMMS and conduct periodic review of the system. Facilitate and prepare for various audits like ONE MAESTRO, MX etc. Manage all Maintenance staff reporting to the incumbent. Drive the process of developing in house capacity within the team to manage the Maintenance activities and reduce the dependency on contractors. Responsible for preparing Annual Maintenance plans and budget estimation. Responsible for annual procurement plan for the dept. Optimisation of procurement activities by annual rate contracts and Service Level agreements. Ensure 100% Maintenance Budget utilisation and liquidation within the financial year. Ensures all the maintenance activities are performed as per the requirements of the company rules and specifications and procedures. Liaise with internal & external stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives for the planned maintenance activities. Provide budget estimates to inform long-term planning for capital (capex) and operational (Opex) expenditure. Ensure all planned maintenance activities are managed within the allocated budget and timeline while meeting the expected quality standards. Drive the improvement of engineering best practices as per the company rules and industry standards. Monitoring resources utilization within the department. Efficient management of Daily activities of the Technicians. Ensure implementation of and proper Management of Change and impart training to Operations or Customer/ Sales staff. Effectively manage, monitor, and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful execution and delivery of works according to scope and specifications. Assist with other departments for any technical clarifications and guidance. Reporting: This position reports to the Manger-Engineering & Projects and will be responsible to manage a team of 2 maintenance planners & 6 Technicians working at different regions. People Management: Effectively manage employees through applying the company People Management principles, and to develop, coach and mentor subordinates to promote a positive working environment which will attract and retain skilled staff and increase productivity. Provide a mentorship role to new and existing staff members ensuring competence of staff for safety critical and environmental protection activities. Impart necessary training and technical sessions to enhance the inhouse competency of the team. Governance: Ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management, for the area of responsibility. Qualifications and Experience Required: A professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering with high level of technical knowledge. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Oil and Gas/ Petro Chemical industry in the area of operations and Maintenance. Good computer literacy in MS Office (Excel Word, Power point, Project etc.) and knowledge in maintenance management software, SAP etc. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge on various maintenance Assessment methodologies like FEMA, Root Cause analysis, Failure analysis etc. A high level of verbal and Non-verbal communication.
