My client is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their esteemed team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to manage critical financial functions and drive operational excellence.

This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Fees:

Calculate partner and company fees accurately and timeously.
Review monthly calculations performed by the accounting team.
Ensure accruals are processed within deadlines and with proper approvals.

Inter-company Matching:

Maintain zero balances between SA Debtors and International Payable.
Address invoicing queries to ensure accurate reconciliations.

Operations Liaison:

Act as a bridge between Operations and Finance divisions, providing timely and professional service.

Team Oversight:

Take responsibility for accurate and timely reports (Flash, packs, P&Ls, etc.).
Ensure general ledger reconciliations meet high standards and resolve queries promptly.

Surveys and Compliance:

Complete Mauritian authority surveys accurately and within deadlines.
Provide precise information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ad Hoc Assignments:

Handle additional tasks assigned by management promptly and effectively.

VAT and Audit Management:

Ensure monthly VAT returns are filed on time and facilitate VAT refunds when applicable.
Manage audits for the company and subsidiaries from initiation to completion.
