Reference: SW004926-AM-1 My client, with head offices in Kuils River and business units nationwide, is seeking to employ a SAIPA Accountant. As a SAIPA accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities include: Maintain Fixed Asset register, new builds, revamps and scrapping to process and reconcile Debtors Creditors – allocation / coding (capturing done by creditors team) Cashbook and petty cash Journals – Monthly; Payroll; Depreciation Bookkeeping up to Trial balance Management Accounts – preparation, corroboration and follow up VAT Salary and wages Credit cards Assist with coordination and planning of the annual budget process Maintenance of beneficiaries list on banking system Creating payments Daily bank deposits reconciliation and follow-up, cash tracking Maintain monthly audit files Food cost corroboration and follow up Requirements include: Relevant degree, CIMA or SAIPA qualification or University degree with article experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Fluent in English Valid driver's licence 2-3 years experience Experience in Sage Evolution Experience with GAAP Retail Office will be advantageous Experience in the FMCG industry will be advantageous
