We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Restaurant Accountant to oversee all financial operations within our restaurant. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, ensure accurate payroll processing, and provide financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll management, and restaurant financial operations. Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries for accuracy and compliance. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and transactions. Payroll Administration: Process and manage employee payroll, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions. Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and tax requirements. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Cost Control: Monitor and analyze restaurant costs, including food, beverage, and labor expenses. Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and improved financial performance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Competitive Market Related Incentive
