Sentech's Broadband Business Division invites applications from seasoned and qualified candidates for the position of Account Manager. The role is responsible for overseeing the retention and growth of clients through cross sell / upsell to support achievement of 20% annual revenue growth target, ensure increased customer satisfaction, collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective broadband solutions and strategies that drive revenue and solve client objectives. The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success. • Develop account plans and implement sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow revenue from existing accounts. • Develop and maintain long and profitable commercial, value-add based relationships within an agreed customer portfolio of existing Broadband based clients • Achieve and exceed sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Collaborate with sales and business development and solution pricing specialists to align solutions with customer needs. • Identify and drive opportunities to upsell/cross sell Broadband products and services to customers through cross sell / upsell to support achievement of annual revenue growth target • Client wide internal collaboration through strong multi-level relationships and communication lines identifying key stakeholders to ensure that consistent service and contractual obligations are met • Design, cost and present compelling proposals that demonstrate the value of Sentech's products and services • Provide improvement recommendations to the Broadband business unit where opportunities arise to improve customer satisfaction. • Proactive regular client contact (telephone, face to face) which will involve travelling to clients' sites on a regular basis • Plan, monitor and report performance on revenue targets for the broadband business unit • Negotiation contracts and pricing and produce quotes and proposal to customers within agreed time scales • Identify opportunities to increase customer base. • Assess market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments regularly. • Provide insights and recommendations for adapting sales strategies to market dynamics. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and. • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for stakeholders ● Bachelor's in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent ● An Honours degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field will be an added advantage. ● Telecoms experience and having held a similar account management, sales role for 5 years ● Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing customer accounts. ● Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. ● Good understanding of the broadband and telecommunications industry trends, best practices and market dynamics in South Africa. ● Demonstrated ability to use customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools. ● Wealth of broadband technology expertise in the ways that create the most value to our clients ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. ● Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Skills and Competencies • Customer-centric: experience and having held a similar customer facing role for 5 years would be advantageous • Relationships: Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels • Brand Loyalty: Maximising brand loyalty and retention through sales activity and frequent articulation of the value -add offered • Highly organised: Proactive, self-motivated and results driven. Adaptable and able to manage multiple projects and relationships, plan and prioritise, working efficiently to deadlines, managing time and workload • Communication: Excellent listening and strong communication skills (both written and verbal), negotiation and diplomacy.
