These services include; analysis, interpretation and extension of agricultural information with the aim of optimizing production and managing risks . A vacancy exists for an Agronomist who will work in close collaboration with the production units at our Agronomist division located in Mooketsi Limpopo Province. Maintenance and expansion of an integrated plant protection program The successful candidate will provide an agricultural service and advice to the various production units, but will also be involved on a larger scale in the organisation with the development and expansion of projects that will focus on other products The position is not desk-bound and although the incumbent will be expected to do research from time to time, the main output is focused on practical task execution and being goal-oriented. Preferably a postgraduate qualification in Agriculture supported by knowledge of and practical experience in Soil Science, Botany, Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology or any combination of these disciplines Candidates should have excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Computer skills as well as experience in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite package is a prerequisite. A valid driver's license is required.
