An opportunity for an experienced ARMATURE WINDERS / ELECTRICAL FITTERS is required for permanent employment based in Newcastle.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dismantles
- Asses electrical motors
- Test runs on electrical motors
- Takes AC data on windings of an electrical motor
- AC clean core of an electrical motor
- AC cut insulation
- AC wind coils
- AC rewind stator
- AC Rewind rotors
- DC Dope
- DC Clean core
- DC Cut insulation
- DC Wind coils
- DC rewind IP/Field Coils
- DC Rewind Armature
- AC Test stators
- AC Test rotors
- AC Test rund
- DC test IP/Field Coils
- DC Test Armature
- DC test run
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Trade Tested Artisan (Armature Winder / Electrical Fitter or Trade Test with Armature exp.)
- 5 7 years ++ experience
- AC / DC Electric Motors experience
- Ensure work is efficient, accurate and completed professionally
- Ability to work without supervision, under pressure
- Able to work long hours / overtime / weekends etc as required by the operation
- Medically fit & healthy (Sober minded)
- Newcastle residency required
