My client, a company based in the Free State driven by creativity and innovation is looking for a self-motivated, vibrant individual to take on the role of Branch Manager. Complete management of the Branch and the Warehouse, staff, assets which include motor vehicles, machinery, equipment, stock, and the general upkeep of the premises. responsible generating new business, generation of sales and maintaining customer relationship. Ensure that sales target does not drop below the current sales trend. Manage staff and their duties, time attendance and record keeping. Email weekly attendance registers every Friday afternoon or Monday Morning, monthly registers on the 25th of every month, (or otherwise required) Ensure that all customers are invoiced on the company's accounting package and that delivery notes are signed by the customer. If manual invoicing & delivery books are used, ensure that they follow an uninterrupted sequence. Ensure that every invoice reflects the correct Customer details. While we have moved to being a Cashless Branch, all cash if received due to an abnormality, must be receipted and banked. Maintain a Daily banking schedule that must balance to weekly banking. Orders for stock must be processed and submitted to the factory timeously. As we are phasing out the receipting of Cash, kindly ensure that card transactions are correctly allocated and that you cash up your card machine every afternoon. Only release goods once Head Office confirms that EFT payments are reflected in the company's bank account. Kindly note, EFT takes up to 24hours to reflect in the company's bank account. Ensure accurate stock levels and report stock to Head Office on a weekly basis, every Friday afternoon or early Monday Morning. Manage the vehicle in a responsible manner and ensure that the vehicle is scheduled for its required services. Keep a record of driver trips and record mileages daily. Monitor fuel usages, garage card and navigation equipment. Please ensure proper planning for long distance delivery and ensure that deliveries are planned in such a manner that we do not incur unnecessary travel costs. required to produce management reports on a monthly basis and perform ad hoc duties as and when required. Manage sales trends and a customer data base of all customers, ensure that all customers contract details and email addresses are updated frequently. Visit customers to ensure that their concerns and requirements are correctly and efficiently managed and resolved. This role requires someone who is able to create and maintain a well-functioning environment for both the business and its employee's and ensure that all runs smoothly with attention to detail as well as; Be able to manage the branch / warehouse as a whole, staff attendance with record keeping, machinery, equipment, stock and basic upkeep of premises. Generate new business, upkeep and maintain client relationships ensure that sales targets are placed and met and do not drop below current market sales trend.
