Reference: PE010894-LM-1 Key Responsibilities: Business Development Manager Ensure achievement of set sales targets Ensure achievement of set annual gross profit targets. New business development Key account management Implementation and management of sales strategies and campaigns Core Responsibilities : Business Development Manager Maintain high quality information in support of proactive management of sales and delivery targets (Pipeline, OE, Revenue and GP). Represent the company and increase revenue by selling the company products and solutions to all potential customers. Provide accurate forecasting of business and market needs. Implement sales strategy and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare proposals for the provision of products/services. Follow up on new sales prospects and develop existing customers' business needs. Monitor and reporting on sales prospects, progress and performance. Monitor and reporting on customer satisfaction, market intelligence and competitor capabilities. Build and maintain relationships with all key individuals within assigned accounts. Interact frequently with strategic customers to understand their environment and requirements. Maintain excellent and mutually productive inter-departmental relationships. Stay abreast of market developments and competitor activity. Be aware of and comply with risk and compliance requirements in submitting new applications. Interact frequently with strategic customers to understand their environment and requirements. Perform Key Account Management duties on designated accounts. Attending and organising trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings. Assessing and finding solutions for both commercial and technical healthcare service provider requirements. Undertaking relevant research Ability to demonstrate and or present products and services to healthcare staff including medical practitioners, nurses, veterinarians, pharmacists and optometrists. Communications & Working Relationships Internal: Technical Team Admin Team Billing Team Development Team Account Management Team Reasons for Interaction Installations & Technical Issues Onboarding & Administrative Issues Billing Issues Custom requirements and system integrations Customer satisfaction External: Customers Business Units Resellers Strategic Partners Reasons for Interaction: Sales Customer satisfaction Collaboration Qualifications, Experience, & Skills : Educational Qualifications : Matric Business Management Degree/Diploma highly preferred Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint proficiency Professional Qualifications: Business Development Management Course Years of Experience : 5 years new business sales experience Other requirements Medical solutions sales experience. Experience in FinTech sales would be advantageous. Key account management experience would be advantageous. Good communication skills. Strategy development and implementation. People management skills. Performance management skills. Strong relationship building skills. Strong negotiation skills. Sales planning skills. Profit management skills. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Results and customer focused. The ability to seek information from clients. PC literate in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Able to meet targets and deadlines. Ability to motivate self and others. Must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail. Product knowledge in financial transaction solutions Able to work independently, detail-orientated and customer focused. Ability to work under pressure. Good decision maker Willing to travel. Full understanding of large/corporate client and sales principles MS Office Suite Attention to Detail Customer liaison skills Communication (Verbal and Written) Ability to engage at all levels and drive delivery among team members. Proactive, self-starters Results oriented: Ability to achieve targets within given parameters. Identifying areas for improvement Interpersonal skills – Convey respect & willingness to listen.
