Bachelor’s Degree, NQF level 7 in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
MBA qualification, advantageous
8 Years' relevant working experience in a manufacturing or related industry
Good understanding of CI methodology, tools and techniques, e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen & TOC
Proficient on MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
Lead, guide, facilitate and manage all continuous improvement activities in the organization
Align the business unit strategy to the overall group strategy
Identify and initiate cost-reduction projects across all spheres of operation
Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Design and optimize factory layouts to enhance workflow and space utilization
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives within transport and distribution functions
Conduct thorough assessments of manufacturing processes and recommend enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement projects
Monitor and report on the progress and results of implemented initiatives
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing and logistics
Document policies and procedures
Implement best practices across all sites
Provide and advise on training to staff on Lean principles
