Minimum Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification
Refrigeration experience essential
5 – 6 Years’ management experience (ideally with a background working with sheet metal)
Previous exposure to a production environment would be advantageous
Proficient on MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

Determine, monitor, and track production around efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
Engage and co-ordinate with other Managers across the Company
Report back to senior management on productivity
Ensure order fulfillment
Non-conformance and incident management
Monitor and review manufacturing operations and processes to ensure quality standards are maintained
Communicate goals and key performance indicators to direct reports
Recruitment and selection
Monitor employee absences, and address and resolve patterns and abuse
Employee development
Counselling, disciplinary action, grievances, and conflict resolution
Ensure all equipment and machines are maintained and serviced to specification
Plan and order material in accordance with production requirements
Develop and improve processes and procedures
Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance with Company policy
Quality control of all products
