Plan the implementation of new systems Provide guidance to IT professionals and stakeholders within the organization Approve purchases of technological equipment and software Establish partnerships with IT providers Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance Direct and organize IT-related projects Monitor changes / advancements in technology to discover ways to gain competitive advantage Analyse the costs, value, and risks of information technology Matric BSc Degree: Computer Science / Engineering / related fields Proven experience in similar senior role Banking / Retail / Merchant sector experience Skilled in designing / developing IT systems and planning IT implementation Strong IT knowledge and infrastructure Strong technical skills Excellent analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills Understanding of IOT technology Excellent leadership skills Excellent relationship building and team development skills Thorough understanding of data management and administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strategic planning and goal setting skills Excellent presentation skills Familiar with IT standards and regulations Strategic and business mindset Data analysis, budgeting, and business operations experience and understanding
