Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities:

Utilise computer software to create plans and detailed blueprints.
Troubleshoot problems that may arise during the agricultural season.
Schedule daily workflows and set daily work programmes.
Monitor daily productivity of contracted equipment.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Report weekly on operational and financial progress.
Manage a fleet of 150 tractors and heavy plant on a large sugar estate.
Provide land preparation, road maintenance, canal maintenance, and crop spraying services.
Plan operational schedules for large fleets of tractors and heavy plant while monitoring productivities and efficiencies.

Key Skills:

Proficient in precision agricultural practices using Trimble/RTK equipment on AGCO and Komatsu.
Experience with heavy farm machinery such as Massey Ferguson, Challenger, and Komatsu.
Strong financial management skills, including procurement, budgeting, operational stores, and workshop administration.
Excellent planning and activity scheduling skills.
Strong technical skills and a hands-on approach.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Ability to work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working under strict deadlines.
Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to develop long-term customer relationships.
Good planning and activity scheduling skills.
Technical skills with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications:

BSc in Agricultural Engineering or a similar qualification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management position within an agricultural environment.
Fully computer literate.
Ability to operate Trimble and Topcon GPS software.
Valid driver's license.
