large Gaming International Company Creative Manager Location: South Africa (with potential travel to East African countries) Overview: The Creative Manager will be responsible for leading the creative direction and development of all marketing materials, campaigns, and brand assets for our company's expansion into the East African region. This role requires a highly creative individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in developing engaging and innovative marketing strategies. The Creative Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and drive customer engagement across various channels. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the creative vision and strategy for marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives across multiple channels, including online, print, and social media. Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative assets that meet business objectives and resonate with target audiences. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and other stakeholders to translate marketing objectives into creative concepts and executions that effectively communicate key messages and drive customer engagement. Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept development and design to production and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and marketing, and incorporate innovative ideas into creative strategies and executions. Work closely with external agencies, freelancers, and other third-party vendors to source talent and resources as needed to support creative projects and campaigns. Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials and touchpoints, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards. Provide creative direction and feedback to internal and external teams, guiding the development and refinement of creative concepts and executions. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of creative work to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous innovation and excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of creative strategies with overall business objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. At least 7-10 years of experience in creative management, with a strong background in graphic design, advertising, or marketing, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry. Proven track record of leading successful creative teams and delivering impactful, results-driven marketing campaigns and initiatives. Excellent design skills and proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and branding strategies, with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive innovation. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and ideas effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, able to develop innovative solutions to complex marketing challenges and drive continuous improvement. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Passion for creativity, design, and storytelling, with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and trends.
