Job Description
Your responsibilities will be the following:
- Understand all products, what its main components are and what its applications are on the company products.
- Address all customer enquiries regarding specifications and pricing in a timeous manner either via e-mail or telephone call and ensure the information was accurate and helpful.
- Short and long-term planning is required to meet the needs of customers as well as the needs of the company.
- Provide technical customer service in cooperation with R&D and Sales based on identified business.
- Cover immediate action/trouble shooting at customers in close cooperation with R&D and Manufacturing.
- Orchestrate activities, including sampling, identifying problem source at the customer and reporting.
- Prepare technical information based on customer needs.
- Handle customer specification requests, and accesses QC data and information.
- Ensure product quality and performance standards meet customer needs through continuous evaluation of product performance.
- Identify performance requirements for new applications and products and further develop these in close cooperation with colleagues in the R&D and Manufacturing functions; thereafter lead the process of introduction at target customers.
- Track competitive technology and identify new products/opportunities in the market.
- Understand EH&S regulations and issues as related to Industry in which they are practicing.
Qualifications
- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification would be an advantage
Skills
- Minimum of 3 Years experience in selling waterproofing products
- Sales experience in chemicals, cold chain or good technical back ground from industry
- Valid Driver''''s License
