Reference: DUR002157-CW-1 DUR002157 Dispatch Manager – Cato Ridge Job Purpose: To ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of warehoused goods. This involves implementing, executing, and coordinating processes and systems to maintain smooth operations in the warehouse and despatch areas while managing associated costs such as staffing, breakages, shortages, and materials like pallets and packaging Technical Competencies & Experience: Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Operations Management /Supply Chain Management At least 5 years in FMCG industry Min 3 years in Warehouse Management Supervisory and/or management experience Knowledge of Syspro is essential In-depth understanding of warehousing and despatch operations. Ability to develop, implement, and manage efficient warehousing and distribution procedures. Proficiency in conducting physical counts and reconciling inventory with data. Experience in managing stock levels, planning stocktakes, and resolving stock variance Behavioural Competencies Excellent communication Skills Attention to Detail Numerical reasoning Analytical Skills Teamwork Problem-Solving IMPORTANT - Only shortlisted candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered.
