Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Supply Chain/ Distribution qualification
- English Fluent in speaking and writing. 5+ years in a warehouse environment
- Supervisory and/or management experience
- Food Safety knowledge a must FSSC 22000
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Key Responsibilities:- Create, implement and ensure execution of the procedures and processes related to : Warehousing and Distribution
- Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Daily, weekly and monthly stocktakes as planned
- Plan and co-ordinate picking and despatch requirements for the week
- Monitor, analyse and resolve all stock variances
- Liaise with maintenance on all machinery (forklift) requirements and racking in terms of general maintenance and repairs.
- Ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations and standards are met.
- Management of dispatch team in terms of: o Performance
- o Discipline
- o Training
- o Regulatory requirements
- Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
- Analyse and report on all key production indicators in terms of efficiencies and variances. Including but not limited to:
- o Breakages
- o Shortages
- o Stock holdings : packaging and product stock
- Performance measures
