This position is primarily responsible for repairing equipment to a fully functioning condition by performing the following duties. Requirements Educational Requirements: Matric Previous DJI Product Repair Certification/s beneficial Experience Required: 2 years of experience as a DJI Repair Technician Excellent troubleshooting and diagnosis skills Knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments Mid-level or higher soldering skills Mid-level or higher understanding of MS Office Suite/Google Suite (Word, Docs, Excel, Sheets, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication ability, especially reading technical documentation/schematics and logging your process workflow Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot and repair DJI products. Disassemble and assemble DJI products according to provided data. Repair electrical devices, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations. Communicate technical assistance and resolution to Customer Service and Comms departments. Assist with other manufacturer product assessments and repair when DJI repair volumes are low or as instructed by management from time to time. Arrange, generate and process shipment documentation of Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMAs) that are covered under Warranty (non-paid repair work) and Non-Warranty (paid repair work) Repairs units, both hardware and software. Tests functionality for takeoff and landing under specified safety conditions. Certifies that products are fully repaired or replaced. Logs all actions into internal and external partner software databases. Works quickly and efficiently to repair customer products. Works well in a team environment. Works Overtime if necessary.
