Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree or relevant Electrical/ Engineering
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the Electrical Engineering Environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD & Inventor
Purpose of the Position
- Plan and direct the design, installation, testing, operation maintenance of Transformers and Switchgears
- Develop and maintain good relationships with clients
- Manage effective relationships with internal and external parties
Main Responsibilities or Functions of the Job
- Assign, direct, train, oversee and evaluate employees work
- Coordinate and direct projects and technical activities
- Review and approve product designs and changes
- Confer with management, sales, procurement and production staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
- Perform relevant administrative functions
- Liaise with clients on technical issues and specifications
- Perform design work according to sound engineering principles
- Prepare and present technical reports to the clients
- Ensure health and safety of the employees
- Providing, receiving, observing, analysing, evaluating, solving and communicating information with relevant personnel
- Ensure that employees and processes comply with laws, regulations and standards
