Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Duties & Responsibilities Leadership and Supervision Manage and supervise a team of electricians, assistants, and other electrical personnel. Provide training and development for staff to ensure high levels of competency and safety. Schedule and coordinate daily activities and work assignments for the electrical team. Maintenance and Repairs Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Ensure that all electrical repairs are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations. Safety and Compliance Ensure all electrical work adheres to South African safety standards and regulations, including OHS Act (Occupational Health and Safety Act) Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of electrical systems and work practices. Maintain records of all inspections, incidents and corrective actions taken. Technical Support Provide technical expertise and support to solve complex electrical issues. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical technologies and industry best practices. Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as necessary. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance and repair activities. Prepare and present regular reports on electrical system performance, issues, and improvement plans to senior management. Ensure all electrical documentations is accurate and up to date, including schematics, manuals, and logs. Desired Experience & Qualification Education :Electrical Trade(Red Seal), B-Tech Elelectrical Engineering, N6/Diploma in electrical engineering. Experience : Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and supervision, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, circuits, and PLCs. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with South African electrical standards and regulations. Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office Suite and related software. Apply Now
