Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Process Engineering.
5-10 years of experience working as an engineer in a FMCG or beverage industry.
Strong working knowledge of the OHS Act.
Proficiency in using CMMS tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Oversight:
- Supervise and manage the maintenance department to ensure all equipment is running efficiently and safely.
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
Blow Moulding Operations:
- Oversee blow moulding processes to ensure the highest quality standards and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the blow moulding process.
Production Management:
- Lead the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Continuously analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase output and efficiency.
Utilities Management:
- Oversee the management of plant utilities, ensuring optimal operation and cost-efficiency.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Building Projects:
- Manage and coordinate building projects within the plant, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
- Promote a culture of safety within the plant and conduct regular safety audits.
CMMS Implementation:
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and optimize maintenance activities.
