Unlock your excellence by joining our dynamic team as an Equipment & Facility Technician Provide first line support for line openings and machine set ups on all production lines. Ensure the necessary fine tuning is done on the machines to ensure seamless production runs. Perform routine, and preventative maintenance on all machinery to ensure they remain in excellent working condition. Monitor equipment, machinery, and the facility to prevent breakdowns/downtimes. Oversee, and assist with changeovers to ensure they are performed efficiently with minimal turnaround time. Advising and collaborating with the Quality Department in the compilation and maintenance of SOP's. Ensuring GMP compliance in the manufacturing environment. Performing self-inspection audits. Maintaining registers and all maintenance-related documentation accurately per the SOP's. Assisting and providing input regarding all aspects of the manufacturing facility. Maintain proper control over tools and spare parts. Ensuring that proper Health and Safety standards are maintained. A qualified artisan with specialisation in electrical and mechanical fields. Plant technician experience where the focus was on production equipment and machinery. Computer literacy with regards to MS Office. Own transport. Responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. Accurate and an excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and maintain work performance under pressure. The ability to identify problems quickly and to take appropriate action. Ability to adapt quickly. Must be enthusiastic. Must be punctual. Expected salary for the position between R20 000 and R35 000 depending on experience and expertise.
