We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the functions and responsibilities of the Finance Team. The successful individual will be accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the Company Accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the Company. The development of a financial and operational strategy and the metrics to measure the strategy. The ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The Finance Manager must ensure financial performance and statutory compliance to limit business risk and maximise profitability. Direct and control the Company's financial, accounting, legal and board secretarial activities. Provide a financial service to all companies and divisions of the Sheraton Textiles Holdings Group. To provide all relevant accounting, management, and statistical information to the Management of the Sheraton Textiles Holdings Group to enhance the decision-making ability and policy development of the Group management team. Management of the Finance Team including Procurement towards effective completion of all financial responsibilities and duties. Ensure internal controls are effective and maintained. Asset control and accountability (including Fixed Asset Register) Management of the creditors & debtors' functions, including doubtful debts Foreign exchange management Monthly management packs Insurance and risk minimisation Cash flow and working capital management. Attendance of monthly and year end stock takes. Product costing and bill of materials management Taxation issues (VAT, UIF, PAYE, SOL, WHT and Income Tax): Vat Implementation of Finance policies and procedures including IFRS Payroll signoff Cheque signing powers. Budgets and forecasts General Ledger reconciliations review and sign-off Year-end audit Board meetings Company secretarial duties BBBEE verification audit financial statements and documentation. Other adhoc duties as directed by the CEO and/or the Board. CA qualification 10 Years proven experience in financial environment, Monitoring budgets, financial focus, and highly analytical skills. Proven relevant experience as Finance Manager High level of computer literacy Good business acumen Knowledge of imports and rating exchange Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and meet deadlines. Strong negotiation skills with ability to monitor and evaluate supplier contracts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Negotiable - depending on experience
