As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our client's operations. You will be tasked with adapting processes in line with changes in SA GAAP and IFRS, meeting statutory reporting filing deadlines, maximising tax efficiency, delivering compliant VAT returns, and overseeing the delivery of robust monthly numbers. Your role will also involve reviewing and proposing new processes to streamline operations and enhance compliance. Furthermore, you will support legal teams with contract data and system entry using global tools while managing day-to-day audit-compliant processes. Adapting processes in line with changes in SA GAAP and IFRS Meeting statutory reporting filing deadlines Maximising tax efficiency and effectiveness Delivering timely compliant VAT returns Overseeing delivery of robust compliant monthly numbers in a timely fashion Reviewing and proposing new processes and procedures to streamline processes and aid compliance Supporting Legal with contract data and system entry, utilising global tools Managing day-to-day audit-compliant processes The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position is a qualified accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA) with over five years of experience. You should have excellent internal customer communication skills coupled with strong IT ability. Experience with ERP systems would be desirable but not essential. A solid background in tax compliance (SA and Global), audit management, knowledge of finance regulations and standards are crucial for this role. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can think ahead and proactively improve the department. Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA) 5 years Qualified Accountant (ACCA preferred) Excellent internal customer communication skills, with strong IT ability Experience of ERP Systems (Desirable not essential) Experience of tax compliance (SA and Global) Experience of Audit managements Knowledge and understanding of Finance regulations and standards Ability to forward think and proactively improve the department Ready to take your career to the next level?
