We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. This role involves a wide range of finance-related tasks including reconciliation, reporting, and processing transactions. Perform reconciliation and consolidations of financial accounts. Prepare and present monthly management accounts. Conduct financial reviews and generate comprehensive financial reports. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements. Process all supplier and debtor invoices into the accounting system. Handle cashbook entries and complete bank reconciliations. Check the accuracy of expense claims forwarded to Central Finance for payment. Provide an accurate Suppliers and Debtors' Age Analysis report monthly. Complete Supplier Credit Application forms. Verify all tax invoices to ensure compliance with South African Revenue Service's requirements. Maintain an efficient record storing system. Provide general office assistance to the finance team and management as needed. A degree in finance-related courses. At least 3 years of experience in a finance role. Strong proficiency in financial reconciliation and consolidation. Experience in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports. Knowledge of processing supplier and debtor invoices, cashbook entries, and bank reconciliations. Ability to provide accurate financial analyses and reports. Familiarity with South African Revenue Service's tax invoice requirements. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
