We're accepting applications for the position of Back-office Financial Administrator. The purpose of this position will be to support the technical operations management team, which will involve end-to-end operational back-office support requirements relating to the co-ordination and alignment of multi-faceted subject matter experts' collaboration requirements and effective communication, including administrative support (record keeping, record maintenance and database administration) and operational financial support requirements (placement and receipting of purchase orders). Co-ordinating the timely placement and receipting of purchase orders Preparing regular reporting of network equipment ordered Providing end-to-end administrative support on purchase order requests in conjunction with the respective suppliers and business units within technical operations Creating the respective projects in the management system and tracking approval on all projects Retrieving and processing all new order requests from the management system Maintaining accurate system details Overseeing, co-ordinating and managing the process of receipting invoices in line with finance processes and ensuring that all outstanding supplier payments are processed timeously Maintaining order registers and tracking each PO until fully receipted Compiling regular reports from SAP/EVO on all orders placed and deliveries outstanding Compiling regular departmental reports as required and assisting with the distribution of budget reports for technical operations business units Continuously improving and developing processes to ensure effective order management practices Maintaining and co-ordinating operational activities and managing section deliverables Matric and relevant tertiary qualification At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a financial administration role At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a technical environment, working with SAP/EVO Strong working knowledge of business operations and accounting concepts Work experience in an accounting, financial, purchasing or project management role advantageous
