Financial Para-Planner - South Africa
Our client is a team of financial planning experts looking for an financial para-planner to join their team. If youve got a NQF5 in wealth management or other related finance qualification and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial planning industry and would like to join a dynamic team of professionals, then this opportunity is for you!
Main duties and responsibilities
ü Preparing client information and reports for financial plans
ü Preparing investment and retirement scenarios for client financial plans
ü Extracting policy schedules for clients
ü Preparing quotations in respect of risk and investments on behalf of the financial planner
ü Compiling draft financial plan for submission to financial planner for comment and recommendations
ü Capturing personal and financial information timeously and accurately
ü Completing and submitting application forms on behalf of new and existing clients
ü Following up with insurers and investment houses to ensure administrative efficiency
ü Keeping clients continuously updated on administrative processes and status quo
ü Adhering to compliance and practice management standards set out by the organisation
ü Liaising internally with financial planners and administrators to ensure the smooth implementation of financial solutions
ü Building relationships with clients, colleagues and service providers
Computer literacy
ü Must be proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
ü Must be willing to use cutting-edge technology in the workplace
ü Experience on financial planning software preferred

ü Excellent written and verbal communication
ü Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
ü The willingness to work independently and as part of a team within a dynamic organisation
ü Attention to detail is extremely important
