This role involves managing internal and external reporting for their Group companies and industry regulators, along with overseeing expense management and analysis. Advance your career with us—apply now Send your CV to Katesalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Prepare and submit financial reports to the Prudential Authority and South African Reserve Bank (SARB) in compliance with IFRS 17 Consolidate and report quarterly financial numbers, including actuals and forecasts, for IFRS 17 Prepare actual, forecast, and planning trial balances in accordance with IFRS 17 requirements Conduct detailed analysis of the IFRS 17 trial balance on a quarterly basis Develop and deliver presentations for the Board and Audit Committee related to IFRS 17 Prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS 17 Coordinate and reconcile quarterly FPSL data for IFRS 17 reporting purposes Provide assistance with audits and address various audit queries related to IFRS 17 Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting CTA CA(SA) Experience: Minimum 2 years post articles experience Experience in insurance/reinsurance accounting environment IFRS 17 experience highly advantageous Experience working with FPSL highly advantageous Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very strong excel skills Ability to work under pressure Quick learner and able to work independently If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
