As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment. Responsibility: Perform regular maintenance and inspection of forklifts to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Replace faulty components and perform necessary adjustments Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Forklift Mechanic or similar qualification Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Good communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and a commitment to safety Benefits: Salary: R180K/yr - R240K/yr, negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training and Development Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
