We are currently recruting for a qualified and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg . Job Purpose: Implement the fundraising strategy for the KST. Fostering ongoing relationships with donors and other stakeholders. Providing updates or checking in with regular or recurring supporters. Planning and hosting fundraising events. Fundraising Conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of a Fundraising Strategy which includes, corporate, international, individual, in kind etc… Donor Research and database development Drafting fundraising proposals Building effective donor partnerships and relationships Recruit Anchor Donors for foundation projects Fundraising Coordination Responsible for overseeing the development of funds for the Trust. Collaborate with a variety of teams, including marketing communications, and events planning to develop strategies that will bring in revenue. Raising awareness about the Trust's mission, programmers and activities Research potential donors with prospects Conducting interviews with potential donors to assess their interest in the Trust and determine how they can be engaged Coordinating with executive leadership and development staff to develop annual goals for the Trust fundraising efforts Analyzing data from past fundraising campaigns to identify trends and opportunities to improve. Reporting Manage the design and implementation of reporting and information management systems, procedures, standards and tools/templates that provide consistent proposals Manage projects' database, dissemination of project information and project closure processes Constantly monitor and report on project and programme progress to the CEO, the Board, Steering Committee and other relevant committees and stakeholders such as funders and donors and relevant departments Oversee quality assurance reporting and collaborate with district managers and project managers in compiling project and programme data and evidenced-based reporting. Risk Management Ensure that all standards are followed and adhered to before project inception, inception and through the lifespan of all projects and programmes Monitor project and programme risks throughout the lifespan of all projects and programme. Conduct situational analyses and manage processes to identify, track, analyse and document project risks Manage the implementation of mitigation strategies for identified project and programme risks and guide the resolution of all reported project and programme issues Provide project risk management training to relevant internal and/or external stakeholders Design and maintain risk logs/registers. Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager Minimum Qualification NQF five (5), Diploma or BA degree in Public Relations, Media, Communications and Fundraising Years of Experience Minimum of five (5) years experience in Fundraising, awareness campaigns media relations, communications, corporate fundraising volunteer management. Professional Registration Body N/A Other Requirements Specific to the Role Public Relation Drivers License Must be able to communicate in at least two African (RSA) languages and English Must have good communication skills and report-writing skills Microsoft Office Market Related
