General Manager (B2B Division) Gauteng - Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holistic team management and development
  • Operations management within the division, aligning with Executive strategy
  • Product management, ensuring market focus and brand cohesion
  • Business Development to enhance division profitability
  • Resource management within approved budgets
  • Ensuring systems integrity and scalable design
  • Strategy coordination with Executives and implementation within the division
  • Compliance monitoring (legal and regulatory)
  • HR management in line with company policies
  • Effective communication with Executives for shareholder and Board feedback
  • Key client management and relationship building

  • Marketing Team
  • Sales Team
  • Development Team
  • Business Analyst Team
  • Production and Quality Assurance Team

Minimum Education (Essential):

  • Industrial Engineering BEng Degree or Similar

Minimum Education (Desirable):

  • Business Management, Project Management, or similar

Minimum Experience:

  • 10 years in operations management and business analysis in a technological, SaaS, HaaS, or systems-based company
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy development and implementation
  • Commercialization of technology
  • International expansion

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Operations management
  • Team management and culture
  • Technical skills to lead the development strategy for a systems team
  • Process design and optimization
  • Waterfall project management methodology
  • Financial management (budgets, forecasts)
  • Strategic development and forward planning
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/products concurrently
  • Business development and revenue growth planning

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Customer engagement (UI/UX, post-market surveillance)
  • Analytics and data analysis
  • Compliance audits (ISO certification or similar)
  • Key client management
  • Technical expertise in systems and technology

Division & Team Management (40%):

  • Ensure team performance and development
  • Manage teams budget and track actuals
  • Foster effective team communication and adherence to company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality in HR and executive decisions

Operational & Financial Management (30%):

  • Oversee division operations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of division offerings
  • Manage key client relationships and oversee division investments
  • Drive data analytics implementation

Strategic Management (20%):

  • Develop strategic plans based on industry trends and financial opportunities
  • Lead key strategic projects combining B2B and B2C capabilities
  • Maintain company image and enforce ethical practices

QMS Management (10%):

  • Ensure product compliance with quality objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Drive certification and regulatory compliance with internal and external audits
