Guesthouse Manager - Polokwane
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of guest house operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.
- Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain inventory, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
- Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to maintain facilities and services.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract guests and promote the guest house locally and online.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Proven experience as a Guest House Manager or similar role in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and standards.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred.
