Guesthouse Manager - Polokwane
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of guest house operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.
Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain inventory, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to maintain facilities and services.
Implement marketing strategies to attract guests and promote the guest house locally and online.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Guest House Manager or similar role in hospitality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and standards.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred.
