Head Receptionist - South Africa

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Own Transport/Reliable Transport
  • Experience working on Opera PMS system
  • Hospitality experience is essential
  • Experience in a similar role essential

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure a high standard of client service, welcoming guests, checking them in and out and informing them of any additional services available
  • Dealing with any guest requests / queries or complaints.
  • Attending to phone calls, directing them to relevant persons or taking messages.
  • Being responsible for ensuring all tasks on your shift are completed.
  • Dealing with shift finances including the shift float and balancing cash at the end of the shift and ordering bank charges
  • Preparation of guest bills
