HR Administrator - Cape Town International Airport

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drafting of employment contracts and employee letters.
  • Maintaining employee records, files and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assisting with recruitment administration.
  • Assisting with management of leave requests and updating of leave calendar.
  • Administration of IOD and COIDA claims.
  • Co-ordination of general HR administration.
  • Completion of UIF documentation on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting with ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Conducting reference checks.
  • Arranging of performance and probationary reviews.
  • Updating various sheets and lists.
  • Compiling minutes of meetings.
  • Assisting with any day to day or ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential, a Degree would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a HR role.
  • Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be advantageous.
  • Valid drivers license.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word)
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as BCEA & LRA.
