KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Drafting of employment contracts and employee letters.
- Maintaining employee records, files and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assisting with recruitment administration.
- Assisting with management of leave requests and updating of leave calendar.
- Administration of IOD and COIDA claims.
- Co-ordination of general HR administration.
- Completion of UIF documentation on a monthly basis.
- Assisting with ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- Conducting reference checks.
- Arranging of performance and probationary reviews.
- Updating various sheets and lists.
- Compiling minutes of meetings.
- Assisting with any day to day or ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential, a Degree would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a HR role.
- Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be advantageous.
- Valid drivers license.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word)
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as BCEA & LRA.
