KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify Recruitment Needs: Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing requirements.
- Drafting Job Descriptions: Create clear and detailed job descriptions tailored to technical positions.
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to find suitable candidates.
- Screening and Interviews: Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with line managers.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Reference Checks: Perform thorough reference checks to validate candidate qualifications and experience.
- Ensure compliance with employment and data protection related legal requirements.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS- A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential, a Degree would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a HR role which includes the full recruitment life cycle.
- Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be advantageous.
- Valid drivers license.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Education: Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a recruitment role, preferably within the aviation or technical sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word)
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
