Our client in the defence industry is seeking an HR Administrator that will be assisting the HR Team with HR/Payroll related administation and generalist functions. Act as an assistant point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures in line with current labour laws and industry best practices. Compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements related to employment. Compile warnings Organise, administer disciplinary hearings Administer employee benefits programs, including medical aid Compile employment contracts, work back agreements, maternity contacts, and other related agreements. Collect and assist in the development of KPA scorecards Take responsibility for the monthly payroll administration including engagements, terminations, remuneration, and other changes Leave management on the HR payroll system Ensure all paperwork and filing are completed monthly Schedule and manage the monthly induction process Update the induction process from time to time HR Administration and HR Reporting Maintain accurate employee records and databases Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR position HR system knowledge and experience Knowledge of labour relations Knowledge of an HR department and practical experience working in all areas of the HR function Qaulifications Matric A tertiary qualification in Human Resources will be advantageous Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written business communication skills Fluent in Afrikaans and English Able to complete basic calculations, analyze and compile HR reports Organized individual who is deadline-driven with good time management skills Excellent interpersonal skills Good attention to detail Skilled at using an HR/Payroll system R15 000 – R 18 000
