We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team This role plays a crucial part in supporting the HR Manager with administrative tasks such as HRIS management, payroll administration, recruitment coordination, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Join us in fostering a positive work environment and contributing to our mission of excellence in the industry. HRIS System: Maintain data integrity on the HRIS. Onboard new employees. Manage employee files and document requirements. Assist employees with document requests. Clocking System: Ensure accuracy of clocking information. Import overtime schedules daily. Manage incidents of exceeding overtime limits. Leave and Payroll Administration: Update employee details on Payroll System. Process leave information. Administer payroll in absence of HR Manager. Issue monthly payslips and handle payroll queries. Benefits Administration: Reconcile Pension Fund statements. Assist with benefits withdrawals and beneficiary nominations. Liaise with benefits providers. Manage benefits queries. Recruitment: Coordinate recruitment processes. Manage job postings and applications. Conduct initial candidate screenings. Assist with pre-employment checks. Employee Onboarding and Exit: Complete onboarding for new employees. Manage exit processes and documentation. Health & Safety: Maintain first aid kits. Track H&S, first aid and fire fighter training expiry dates. Coordinate health & safety training. Training: Maintain training records. Keep track of training expenses. Assist with ATR/WSP reporting. COIDA and CHIETA: Handle COIDA claims. Administer CHIETA learnerships. Employment Equity: Coordinate meetings and compile information and agenda's. Take meeting minutes. General Administrative Tasks: Manage employee transport arrangements. Coordinate family planning clinics. Assist with performance management admin. Administer employee rewards and recognition programs. Educational Requirements: Diploma in Human Resource Management. Preferred: BCom Human Resource Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience Requirements: No experience required (minimum). Preferred: 2-3 years of relevant experience. Legal Requirements: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
