We serve the retail, food service, and hospitality industry, as well as regional and national distributors. Our specialty lies in artisan breads, rolls, and buns, as well as a range of pastries, doughnuts, and confectionery products. We offer a unique line of frozen thaw and serve, parbaked, and convenience products, providing simplicity and high-quality consistency to our customers. The purpose of the role is to assist the HR manager in the industrial relations and recruitment and selection functions & support systems and services and the underlying processes and Provide well-defined HR administrative and support services that are required on a regular basis within Pie on the Sky. Respond to both emergent and planned staffing requirements at lower job complete level (A & B levels) and ensure the provision of short-lists for employment of suitable staff; administer and coordinate the associated employment, induction and onboarding processes towards achieving low fluctuation rates within the first year of employment and beyond. Maintain the HR data base(s) with staff data, as well as prepare and load the weekly payroll in alignment with finance for timeous and accurate payment; administer and utilise the time & attendance system to inform overtime and absenteeism with payment calculations. Guide staff and managers on the use of standard forms and templates and ensure process compliance on HR admin processes used. General Admin & Support Services. Key Competencies Understand the scope and depth of HR employment & administration systems. Understand the labour legislation and applicability of Industrial Relations, the Labour Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act. Understand and effectively execute Recruitment & Selection processes & Onboarding and Induction administration. Able to organise and structure data within analytical considerations and draw conclusions and insights. Effective communication to all levels in the organisation. Able to organise and coordinate people, tasks, events and inputs into a coherent approach guided by a clear purpose. Minimum Requirements A formal qualification in Human Resource Management. Three years in experience in HR Administration and HR Reports Two years in experience in Industrial Relations and Recruitment processes Knowledge and Experience in Time & Attendance and Payroll system.
