HSE Coordinator - Port Elizabeth

Job Description:

  • Maintenance and implementation of HSEE policies and procedures
  • Drive and co-ordinate "Total Safety Culture"
  • Implementation and maintain ISO14001 and OHSA 18001
  • Internal HSEE audits (conduct, track, manage)
  • Co-ordination and Management of HSEE Committee Meetings
  • Facilitating statutory appointments
  • HSEE Inductions (new employees and contractors)
  • Implement and facilitate emergency preparedness procedures
  • Management and support for IODs

Job Requirements:

  • Matric (NQF 4)
  • Qualification: Health and Safety (Advantageous)
  • NEBOSH / SAMTRAC (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Standards (ISO14001/OHSA 18001)
  • 5 years experience in Health and Safety in an automotive environment
  • Automotive experience (ADVANTAGEOUS)
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Personal attributes: confident, strong interpersonal and communication skills, motivated, resilient
