HSE Coordinator - Port Elizabeth
Job Description:
Job Requirements:
- Maintenance and implementation of HSEE policies and procedures
- Drive and co-ordinate "Total Safety Culture"
- Implementation and maintain ISO14001 and OHSA 18001
- Internal HSEE audits (conduct, track, manage)
- Co-ordination and Management of HSEE Committee Meetings
- Facilitating statutory appointments
- HSEE Inductions (new employees and contractors)
- Implement and facilitate emergency preparedness procedures
- Management and support for IODs
Job Requirements:
- Matric (NQF 4)
- Qualification: Health and Safety (Advantageous)
- NEBOSH / SAMTRAC (Advantageous)
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Standards (ISO14001/OHSA 18001)
- 5 years experience in Health and Safety in an automotive environment
- Automotive experience (ADVANTAGEOUS)
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Personal attributes: confident, strong interpersonal and communication skills, motivated, resilient
