Minimum requirements:
Own transport is essential
Matric PLUS Tertiary Qualification in Accountancy
Qualification in Excel (Or Advanced Excel skill)
Min. 3 years experience
Highly Proficient in QuickBooks, Pastel
Excellent command of English. Afrikaans an advantagge
Strong reconciliation skills.
VAT proficiency necessary
Understanding of Cost Centres and classification.
Primary Duties:1. Creditors - full function for sign-off
2. Accounts Analysis
3. Reimbursed Expenses - full function, including development
4. Implementation of expense policy
5. Commissions / KPI's
6. Credit cards - full function, including development
7. Fixed Assets management and depreciation
8. Year-end assistance with closing, archiving, opening balances and auditor file preparation.
Other: - Order capturing if required.
- Invoicing if required.
- Data capturing and assistance with stock-takes, and variance reporting.
- Prepare shipment costings.
- Filing and ad hoc office duties.
