A specialised law firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate must possess an LLB degree and be an admitted attorney with a minimum of 10 years post-admission experience. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of trademark practice, including patent, design, and trademark filings both in South Africa and internationally. The candidate must also have significant experience in intellectual property litigation. The successful candidate will have the capability to run the IP department independently, reporting directly to the directors. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
