We are looking to hire an independent, energetic, resourceful, proactive, and meticulous Field Technician to join our IT team. The Field Technician will perform technical duties required by our betting outlets. The incumbent must provide technical support to the betting outlets. The successful Field Technician will be well versed in computers, betting terminals, and LTE routers. The Field Technician will report to the Head of IT. •Install and activate betting terminals •Connect betting terminals to the back end network •Deploy and manage LTE routers for betting •Call outs to the branches and be part of an on-call roster •Computer repairs & networking •Inquisitive mind •Good problem-solving skills •Energetic •Intermediate networking •Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in English language •Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines •Ability to work at own initiative •Observant, with exceptional attention to detail •Excellent organisational and time management skills •Honest and reliable •Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues •Able to present information clearly and concisely •Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks •Project management skills •Email etiquette •Three (3) years of experience in similar role •Betting experience would be advantageous •Matric/ Grade 12 is required •A valid driver's licence •IT related qualification would be advantageous.
